Skateboarding should be allowed on school

Skateboarders, Roller bladers, and bikers should be allowed to ride on school grounds. There are very many reasons why they should be allowed to ride on school. It doesn’t actually scratch up the pavement. Most of accidents are caused by the other person not the skater/rollerblader/biker. Also we are really missing out by not riding. There are many other reasons.

Skateboarding does not actually scratch up the pavement. It’s pretty much what people say to back up your arguments for skateboarding to not skateboard. Sometimes it might seem like it scratches up the pavement. We would rarely try to do the trick where it “scratches” the pavement. It only scratches up our skateboard.

The second reason skateboarding should be allowed on school grounds is because running into people rarely happens. Skaters (with the exception of a few) are mostly very careful. 9 out of 10 accidents happen because of the other people not the rider. 3 of that 9 are because somebody purposely jumps in front of the rider at the last minute.

Another reason we should ride on school is because we just plain want to. There are great hills that we can’t even touch. We would also get home faster. If we get home fast enough we can get more done faster too.

I hope you agree with all of this. I think a lot of others would be on board with this too. Somehow I hope this makes at least a little difference. Because we don’t scratch up pavement, we really want to ride on school and we don’t run into people I think we should ride on school. Actually I think we should ride on a lot of other places too.
